Before I got married, I played airsoft and had lots of time on my hands... my brother mentioned that my Argo looked like a tank with the snow tracks on. What's a guy with years of construction skills gonna do? This thing was a smash hit with our team, but we had to make an "airsoft" anti-tank weapon for the other teams to use!
Windows are lexan (polycarbonate). Tried to use plexiglas (cheaper) but I was able to shatter plexiglas at 15 yards with my airsoft M4 (running about 420fps on full auto). The AT-4 next to the "tank" or "LAV" is actually converted to shoot a soft raquet ball (think potatoe gun). The AT-4 is rendered inert and unusable.
NOTE: We started this project in 2001 and completed it in 2002. As far as I know, it is the first "airsoft" tank in the world... but I'm not sure of it - any other airsofters make a tank earlier? Just curious. I helped a guy named Darrel in California (Team: Cimmerians) with some of my technical aspects. I might post a pic he sent to me of his project. He did better with his guns, but I think I won on style.

Damn that sure is nice eh. I love airsoft guns, if I could I would do airsoft wars just about everyday. I have my own collection started, but unfortunally i can't really play with them cause, theres noone to play with and i dono any airsoft feilds round here where I live.
